SCULPTURES
Figurative and abstract works, Arxaia sculptures are on a variety of shapes, styles and materials. Creations of inventive and linear design, both classic and ethnic. These works are made using rusted iron, hard stone glaze, with golden colors that emphasise the preciousness and uniqueness of all forms.

Sacred
The subject of Sacred comes alive on the clay and majolica sculptures. Unique are the Maternities describing everyday life, away from traditional iconography. The strength of Divinity is represented in a human dimension rather than sacred traditions.

Little Dolls
The fruits of ceaseless invention, these objects have a variety of usage, and brim with an innocence and imagination that is almost visionary. They are all female figures - airies, angels, peasant women and queens. Delicate characters formed from a world of dreams, color and poetry.

Works
For many years, the artists’ ingenuity has been turned to the construction of allegorical floats for the age-old carnival of Foiano della Chiana and other similar events. Drawn by the epic nature of the work, by the grand scale of the areas to be painted, and by the collaboration with other people, the artists have managed to change the rustic nature of this carneval. In just a few years they have raised the artistic and conceptual bar of the event. Arxaia’s work has extended into costume design and the curation and composition of the sound tracks which accompany each float. Arxaia’s many years of creative energy are visible in the frescoes and murals of private houses, hotels and public spas.

Who we are
From different backgrounds, Mario e Corrado, meet to give life to a unique blend of arts. Corrado Paolo D’alessandro is from the city, with an active social-cultural life. Mario Bernardini comes from a rural countryside life, in contact with nature and animals. Corrado is educated in classical studies and with life experience in fashion, drama, costumes. Mario's education is in high classical studies and Fine Art. The experiences of both Artists flow together into paintings, ceramics, sculptures, of colorful creativity.
